The initial idea behind trifle jumper is to utilize the awkward amount of leftover yarn. They are more or less about the same yarn weight. The design of this oversized garment is inspired by dessert, trifle. It features textured stripes, boxy & baggy body, cowl collar and wrist length wide sleeves.

Trifle jumper is worked from top down in mixed pattern stitch in one piece.

SIZE GUIDE

The jumper is intended for a roomy and loose fitting with approx. 20-35 cm [7.9-13.8 inches] of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be about 20-35 cm [7.9-13.8 inches] larger in circumference than your bust measurement.

For which size to choose can be varies from person to person. It would be a good idea to measure some of your favorite fitting sweaters to help you find out how much positive ease you tend to like. Then, pick the size accordingly.

Photo demonstrates a typical XS/S with bust circumference (or around your widest part of your upper body) of 88 cm [34.6 inches] wearing a size 1. The look is going for a 41 cm [16.1 inches] positive ease.

YARN OPTIONS

1 strand of any Aran (10 ply) to Bulky (12 ply) yarn would be a good choice.
